Norvia responded to an urgent request for HR assistance from an acquaintance who owned a Fusion African food manufacturing startup. Benefiting from government funding through the Kickstart scheme, the company aimed to expand its workforce beyond the initial four full-time employees. With Norvia’s expertise, they successfully added an additional 17 fixed-term employees within a span of 12 months.

Originally planned for a six-month, 10-hours-per-month commitment, Norvia’s support exceeded expectations, continuing for well over a year and a half. During this extended period, she provided comprehensive HR support.

The scope of HR support provided included:

  • Managing the entire recruitment process, from writing job descriptions to posting vacancies on platforms like Indeed and coordinating interviews.
